Once you hold a gun in your hand, point it at something, and pull the trigger, the full weight of what you are capable of doing with it, intended or otherwise, starts to sink in. If you are new to this world, it may feel like a lot to digest, but don't be intimidated. Like everything we learn, the more time you spend training and safely handling your weapon, the more comfortable and proficient you will become.
And if fell out of the womb with a gun in your hand, then you know that weapon handling and accuracy is a perishable skill. Always be safe, meticulously safe, and training consistently will make you more proficient and accurate with your weapon. But the goal isn't just about shooting a strong target. If you own a firearm for self-defense then marksmanship is important but there is far more involved when you train to win a gunfight.
And that is the sole purpose of this community. I will be posting articles, podcasts, and videos covering many topics introducing you to this world of gunfighting that will help improve your skills, and preparedness mentally and physically. We will learn about equipment, the law, and many other important elements of being a responsible gun owner and proficient gunfighter so you are better prepared to defend yourself and your loved ones.
